I guess we better not get used to this weather.
It has been unseasonably warm....at least 10-15 degrees above the normal average for this time of year.
I guess we should enjoy it while we can.
Kudos to the NY Mets on a wonderful season. They came up a bit short, but we are still proud of the hard effort that they put in as a team!
We had a busy week! Working hard on completing our first PBA (Performance-Based Assessment) and many other tasks.
Thank you to all of the parents for coming out for Parent-Teacher Conferences. This is a valuable time for us to sit down and discuss your child's academic path. At any time during the school year, if you have any further questions, don't hesitate to email me them!
Students completed their PBAs on Friday and I will collect tomorrow, Monday, November 9th.
We are gearing up to begin our non-fiction unit! I know that the students are just as excited as I am.
This week, please make sure that your child has his/her non-fiction books in on Monday.
Also, make sure they have decided either to log their reading on paper or on the website, Learn2Earn!
Another reminder--each student needs to make sure they have joined my Google Classroom. In 2016, we will use this for students to send in assignments and complete them there, too!
I am now off to get ready for tomorrow!
See you in the morning!
